My name is Adam. I loved the idea of geocities and I'm happy to see neocities filling the void, so I thought I'd stake my claim to a corner of the Old Web. Far away from search engine optimization, hidden from the prying eyes of surveillance capitalism, this site represents an opportunity to share projects and thoughts in a uniquely personalized way.
What you'll see here: Short-form blog posts about programming (Java, C++, C#, Python, Nim, JavaScript, whatever), personal and global sustainability, nature, amateur radio, and whatever else I feel like writing about. You'll also see descriptions of projects -- planned, in progress, or completed -- in those interest areas. Images will be dithered because they're usually smaller, they're visually interesting, and I dig it. Website theme may vary drastically from page to page. It's my site and I can do what I want to!
Site principles: No advertising, opinions and facts should be clearly demarcated, it's my site and I can do what I want to, desktop browser is targeted over mobile browser, slowly embrace maximalism a la geocities, keep the site lightweight and blazing fast, as little JavaScript as possible.
There's a lot of development to come! Bear with me as I enjoy working on my web garden.
